Bamboo decking – Some homes are built in a way that requires homeowners to use the stairs to access the deck. Stairs can be added to most exterior tires without a lot of trouble using materials that originate from the local timber yard. Measure the height from the ground to the top of the deck at the place where you will install stairs. It is best to have the stairs land on a level pad. This will give you an idea of how far out the stairs should go from deck to landing. The streaked strings are cut, so each tread is 10 inches long and 6 1/2 inches high. Use a tape measure to check the height. Put stair hinges to the deck where you want them placed. Place each 2 inches apart. Adjust them so the tread will be even with tires.

Determine where strings should be cut so that it will sit level. Mark the strings at this time but do not drop it. Make a form from 2 of 4’s that will act as landing for the stairs. It must be 3 meters wide at the length of the stairs plus an additional 6 inches. Dig the ground where landing will be placed as needed for the stringer to land you with the top of the 2 out of 4 form. Check stringer again to be sure where you have to cut it landing on landing.
